There needs to be more of this!
When I was a teenager I used to listen to a metal band with a sax player, every song, not just a "guest" for effect. I can't remember the name of the band. I'd still have the album, it's just a matter of digging it up.
One of the first things my wife did when she got the sax was to search for metal sax bands, she didn't have much luck unfortunately. I think it could really take off myself.

Another band worth looking into for you is Panzerballett. A little out there, they often get referred to as "Jazz Metal" but i find their music enjoyable. Check their version of "The Simpsons" Theme Song!
