This is the first iteration of the YAS-21 which Yamaha produced for Vito. These have certain details which seem to have been left over from the Vito, Kenosha horns (keyguards, octave thumb rest) thus they sometimes throw folks for a loop. The horn is a 21 in all aspects, however, a 21. Keywork, body specs, mechanics, etc....

Really good shape. Aesthetically and mechanically, very clean, she looks like she hadn't gotten much use before arriving here.

Recently repadded (domed plastic resos)....original lacq at around 80%. A few scratches and spotting here and there, but all in all looks very good and plays up and down great.

Comes with case in great shape, and a new (probably chinese) mouthpiece which plays quite well.

$525 Paypal, personal check, postal MO, $499 Paypal F&F. Yes, you may say a bit much for a Vito-Yama, but the condition and all new pads warrants the pricetag.

Ships from NM, US and Canada sales preferred.

It was asked by a few members -

If anyone wanted to buy a couple of these Altos...which I suppose would make a good sorta student-package deal for anyone wanting to supply a few students with good, reliable horns....I will of course offer a discount on 2 or more....
