Hi! I’ve got Meyer alto piece with “SMALL CHAMBER USA” and “MEYER” but no other markings. Usually there is a diamond with a number on the table. Maybe it’s so old this has been worn off or maybe it was filed off? Is there any way I can find out more about it, I wonder? I’ll try to post a pic.

I think that it may indeed be an old ( 1948) one read here about it

https://theowanne.com/knowledge/mouthpiece-museum/meyer-mouthpieces/

"..The Meyer Bros. mouthpieces came in two historic vintages. The early version had the chamber size marked on the shank UNDER the table and included the word 'chamber'. For example it would say, MEDIUM CHAMBER. The later version had the chamber size marked on the shank under the Meyer Bros logo which was on the back of the mouthpiece. The chamber size only read, SMALL, MEDIUM, or LARGE. It also had a slightly longer shank, while the overall length of the mouthpiece stayed the same...."

That looks like a normal Meyer to me, from the 1970s on. with the diamond worn off due to use or re-facing. Zooming into the first photo, I think you can make out the remains of the diamond.
It's not a vintage NY I'm afraid. Sorry.

Jon, at saxquest, would agree with you, milandro. Not too unfortunate...I can live with it. Funnily enough, yesterday I was going through half doz. bari saxes our school district owns and among the Ricos and Yamaha pieces I found a Meyer!

Wow, the table on that MP is concave, so it has been worked on. But why with such a curve?
I don't know . I bought it from my tech. I'll ask. I just noticed a small part of the diamond in the first pic, after magnification. Definitely this table has been altered. It blows nice, but a tad bright.:treble::bass:
