I was hoping someone here in the forum can tell me about these two vintage mouthpieces. The Conn has a built in tuner mechanism - but the bore is quite small. I would have to sand my cork down so far it wouldn't work with any of my other soprano mouthpieces in order to even try it. The tuner mechanism works nice and smooth and has a very wide range of adjustment. EDIT: Google search just found a post (by me even - I forgot) back in 2004 asking about this very mouthpiece. https://forum.saxontheweb.net/showthread.php?12460-Conn-tuner-mouthpiece-for-C-soprano

And then I have this very tiny Buescher. I've always used it on C sopranos because it is so much smaller than any other sop mouthpiece I've ever seen. But I just noticed it is stamped Bb. Again I'm hoping someone here can share some info on this. I've pictured it here next to a Selmer S80 for size comparison. The window is much, much smaller than on any other Bb sop mouthpiece I've ever seen. (and it works very well on a C sop).

Not sure if I should post in the thread from 2004 or here. In that 2004 thread, saxtek says that you can distinguish a Buescher C sop mouthpiece by the straight thru bore. And the tiny Buescher has that straight thru bore (chamber is same as the backbore). The Buescher is stamped Bb though. Buescher is 59mm long and backbore is 12.8mm Conn is 66mm long and backbore is 12.7mm
