I'm in the process of selling my dad's old mpc but I haven't a clue as to the make. I'm not even sure I want to sell it to be honest.
Would anyone have a look and see if they can ID it. It plays ok in kazoo sort of way. He usually used a Vandoren A35.
These are ROC Britone mouthpieces, assuming it has the crazy baffle design. They also made the Fultone that had a regular chamber/baffle design. I have a Britone, they are quite loud and in your face. I've never seen a Fultone in person.
You're welcome. I remember finding mine at a swap meet some 20 years ago and having no idea what it was. It took a while to figure out. I've found it to be more of a conversation piece than a player, but it's pretty neat. Perhaps if I gave it more time I'd find it more useful.
It's cool that it was your dad's, I'd hang on to it for that reason alone.
I'm not selling any more of his stuff.
I've spent the last year bringing myself back up on his student Buffet B12 before I allow myself to play his Selmer Series 9 which I had overhauled. .
Then I'll go back to his Keilwerth SX90 (not R) with all the mpc's. I'm sure my Eugene Rousseau will be up to the task, and I love the full tone of the Keilwerth ...
