What software is musician friendly when you record videos of music? It can be just simple, but with Picture-In-Picture effect would be nice.

I've been using Windows Movie Maker for video and my Presonus Studio Artist for audio and I would match them.

Is there any easier program to use for these kind of stuff?

This may not be the answer you want, but I find that Apple macs are better for audio/video, both on a simple level and for my professional production work. That may not be helpful in the immediate future, but if you ever upgrade your computer, it's worth looking into IMO.

Hands Down: Sony Video Studio (about $50, maybe less on sale).

Easy, no-brainer editing. Good effects. Platinum version will do HD and use standard VST audio effects.
I've done everything from music videos to corporate vids to airshows to 2-hour multi-camera stage plays in it.
