Looks to be in pretty darn good shape. Not sure why the owner would decide to place that VI in such a precarious place in order to take a picture of it. It looks to be the railing on a second-story balcony!

I think that that's SOTWer saxmanpete. I've seen pics of a bari on that same railing (I think).

i had some kids come this morning to clean out my attic to sell my house. they found a bag of old mpcs in the attic (more on that in another post). In the bag was a 45 rpm record made by Selmer with tracks being played on Varitone by Boots Randolph. On the back--Boots Randolph's hand written (starting to fade) autograph-- I vaguely remember this music store demonstration by him and meeting him in the 60's
