Hi all :
I have the option of buying a Van Doren V5 T20 mouthpiece. As I know, when Stan getz was to play at the Carnegie Hall his sax was stolen , so he got a new sax and mouthpiece to play in that concert and he used a Van Doren V5 T20. Any one using this mouthpiece ? Could you describe the characteristics of the sound of this mouthpiece?
I appreciate your comments.

See here:

I've got a T20 for my Buffet Prestige. I like the tone for classical music, very soft but still focused. What I do not like is that _I_ feel the lay is too long. I have many time played with the thought of getting a T27 which have the shorter lay. I don't like taking that much mpc into the mouth as I have to with the T20. ... With the Soloist I can almost get the same sound as using the T20 but I feel it is more comfortable to play (the shorter lay).

Here's me playing on a Vandoren V5 T20.
People call it a classical piece, but you could play mellow stuff, like Warne Marsh, or some Stan Getz, if you wanted to.

Somebody here named Legitalto also played on the same piece, except different reed.

Here's a person, who I don't know at all, on the same piece, improvising.
