Every new Vandoren Trad reeds that I have played recently have all been playable.
Not all of them were perfect, but playable.
I'm not used to this, is it just me?

There are periods of consistency and inconsistency with reeds. A few boxes might be great but when you buy a couple of boxes months later, the opposite might be true.

This is what we signed up for. :faceinpalm:

I have actually found it to be the opposite. The Vandoren Traditionals for me have been extremely inconsistent. I am having a very good day if I get more than one reed to work out of a box of five :(

I completely agree with that. They worked for a time, I eventually got so tired of it I looked for a new brand. Now I use the Rico reserves for classical and Vandoren V16 for jazz.
