Do the Vandoren Optimum ligatures that fit the NEW Vandoren V16 metal mouthpieces also fit the old metal V16 mouthpieces?

Yes, I have two optimums that came with the old v16s and when i tried the newer version of the v16 the optimum that came with it was exactly the same as my older ones.

Absolutely. I use the optimum on my Jody Jazz ESP and have found nothing else that fits as well.
