I have a late 90's Royal Crown Series Cannonball bari with low A and high f# and I'm looking to sell. I received several quotes but I'm not sure if they're accurate. I paid $5000 when I purchased it. It's in Mint- condition. Used for two years in High school, one year in college and then it's been in my closet ever since.

Any impute would be very helpful.

Kindly,

Layne

You (or your parents) paid $5k? Really? Wow. I paid only $3737.00 for my new stone series bari back in 2005, and it's been killer. Still seals with no work done. I've seen Stone Series up for sale and getting no bites at $3k, though.

According to my tech, Global Series onward has a much better build than the earliest CB models like Royal Crown. If you can get $2k for it, I'd be pleasantly surprised for you. You might have to settle for $1500...

To clarify- I have seen OTHER people's stone series Baris up for sale on Ebay on occasion, and when I track it out of curiosity, it seems like no one is getting more than $3k for them. I have no plans to sell mine!

I DO have a stone series TENOR sax for sale:

because I bought a Cannonball vintage model with a jazz tone I like a little better.
