If this isn't the right forum please move it...this seemed like the best place.

I'm curious to know the value of a 'Quest' soprano saxophone I have laying around. I doubt it's worth much, looks like I paid a bit over $300 for it however many years ago. Would like to still get a few hundred out of it if possible.

It comes with two necks, curved/straight, mouthpiece, and typical cheap 'gold' lacquer. It never really played right, seemed like the lower register needed some tuning or maybe just a bad pad...never really looked into it. It sounds pretty good though, for being so cheap. I wonder how it would play after a once over by a reputable repair guy....

Anyways, any opinions on what this thing is worth?

I'm curious too. I'm just going to put mine up for sale but there is no information about it so there is very little to compare it too. (Starting to save to get a bari.) Mine plays well even though it is an inexpensive horn (my lower register is fine). I purchased it new from my horn tech and he has tweaked it a couple times over the past 6 years. But how much is it worth?
