Hi,

I am in a situation where I will likely need to sell or trade my rare Selmer Super Balanced Bari with a Low A. I have a couple of interested parties already but I am having a hard time figuring out the value since there is so little sales history on these horns.

It's been maintained and in good playing shape since it's my only bari. Lacquer is original. The neck had been pulled down so a previous owner soldered a bulky metal brace on it. Unfortunately, I don't think they got the angle of the neck all the way back up before soldering.

Anyway, it plays and sings as is. I just feel like it's too much value tied up in a bari and I need that value to be put towards an alto and/or soprano. Anyone have an idea how much I should be asking for?

Thanks in advance!

10mfan had a low A SBA baritone on eBay a few years ago. You might want to ask him how much he sold his for.
