I have a King 615 tenor and wondering what the value would be providing it needs a little work.

Wow...130 views .....and nobody in the King section can give the guy an answer.....

Oops...I forgot...this isn't a thread about an S20...so who bothers replying, right ?

Chris, if you are still out there...about $250-300 if the work isn't major. In good, solid shape they are worth about $500.

Probably depends some on whether it is a Cleveland (higher) or Eastlake (lower) horn, what it looks like, what "a little" work means, etc. Although JayePDX's guess seems generally about right to me.

I have a Cleveland and it plays big like any King. The keywork is a little rough but the sound and intonation are similar to a Super 20. I think the body is the same or very similar to their pro models.

I've been away for a while or else I'd have replied sooner. "615" sounds like Eastlake to me. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my late 50s King Cleveland Tenor!!!!
