Hello SOTW! So I have an old Selmer closed-hole flute. All it has stamped on the Body is "Depose/Henri Selmer Paris/France/3846. The serial number is also engraved into the headjoint and endjoint. Any ideas?

Post some photos and a better idea of what you would like to know about it.

It is a Selmer Paris flute and probably a silver plated one. The US Selmers from the 30s are excellent and worth quite a bit but the Paris ones don't have a big following HOWEVER they have done well on ebay lately due to the Selmer Paris sax connection. I will say more when a photo appears but in average condition needing new pads, probably about $400.
