Hi All

This horn belongs to a friend of mine Matthew Hunt of the Launceston jazz Club. Its a Conn 16m Tenor Serial Number M221XXX. Could you please review the photos and provide and estimation of what he could reasonable expect for it.

Regards

Evan

It's a 1969, likely Mexico-made. Does it read "Mexico" under the serial # ? OR...does it read "usa" anywhere ?

BTW...online etiquette suggests not to reveal entire serial #...you may wanna edit your initial post so it reads "M221,XXX".

If Mexico, and it plays up and down and has no significant body damage...about $350-400 market value.

If usa-made, about $475-550.

That is here in the 'states...where one can literally trip over a 16M everytime they turn around.
Perhaps in AU they fetch a bit more.

"Make an offer" ads are sorta against Forum rules...you can take my numbers, confirm 'em with a bit of research on eBay, and if you are looking to sell....list it in the Marketplace with a price on it, the location where it ships from, and the payment methods you accept ~ and see how it goes.
