Hello

I found a used pearl quantz coda 765 rbe flute for sale. It was made in 2007. The lady is selling it for $300.
She states it is in excellent condition and no work is required. There are no dings or dents or scratches and was played for about a year.

Does anyone have any opinions? This seems rather cheap. I am looking for a step up model to my student flute, however I can't test the flute as it is across the other side of the country.

Do you think it is a good buy?

Many thanks, lorraine.

I play a Quantz Coda 665 and I payed more than twice that to get it used off of eBay. It's a good flute and that's a very good price, assuming it plays. Even if it needs some minor repairs it still looks like a good deal.

Thanks for the replies,

It's not on Usedflutes.com. I found it on gumtree and have seen a few photos. I don't much about pearl flutes. Is this model made in Taiwan and if so are they reliable instruments? Or should I save my pennies?!

Many thanks, Lorraine

Thanks for the replies.
I bought the flute! Plays really well. Took it to the shop to get checked over- didn't even need adjustments or a repad. Flute looks like it has never been picked up!
Can't believe the difference in tone and projection compared to my student flute.
Cheers, Lorraine
