This thread probably belongs in another section of the forum but I thought I'd post it here since the flute players hang out here.

I thought this was an interesting Jazz Trio Medley of several tunes from the motion picture The Wizard of Oz.

By the way is that larger flute a tenor flute :?

Looks to me like what many of us would call an "alto" flute, the one pitched in G. This specimen does have a curved head, like a C bass flute does.

I've heard the G instrument sometimes called a "bass" flute; personally I think it makes sense to reserve that term for the lower C instrument.

Just to clarify.
