I see this vintage "USA Best" tenor for sale on ebay. I have played, bought, sold ,repaired and rebuilt many horns in my life. Now in retirement and I have never seen a Best saxophone. There is almost no lacquer left on it but the seller says it is playable. Hurry! Current bid is 99 cents. The case looks original and old like 30s or 40s, but I see no side key as on low pitch horns and no" L" or"low pitch" engraved The bell is very ornately and elaborately engraved, but says "Best" in the center. The serial # is 1166, so not many made I guess. Above serial # "Made In USA". Who can educate me about this rare {?} horn? 99 cents, shipping is reasonable.
