This is a Microsoft feature - it checks for you, and advises if it detects, scripts which seem to be unendingly loading your PC. The BBC world service news site is very prone to this nowadays.

Some recommended solutions are not "beginner-proof". If you are an expert, no problem. otherwise beware.

Couldn't get on the forum this morning for an hour or two. OK now, and bingo, no more script messages after an extensive poke around the site.

Viglink, BTW, is an ad click tracker. I gather it pays Harri every time someone clicks thru SOTW to an advertiser.
