I've been getting a lot of these messages recently. Only on SOTW.

Anybody got any ideas as to what is going on?

I use Chrome. I don't have that problem. Have you tried with a different browser and see what happens?

This is a Microsoft feature - it checks for you, and advises if it detects, scripts which seem to be unendingly loading your PC. The BBC world service news site is very prone to this nowadays.

Some recommended solutions are not "beginner-proof". If you are an expert, no problem. otherwise beware.

SOTW Forum is utilizing viglink. I have seen the site slowing down recently.

Couldn't get on the forum this morning for an hour or two. OK now, and bingo, no more script messages after an extensive poke around the site.

I disabled the new Viglink feature. Please report if you see the message again.

Viglink, BTW, is an ad click tracker. I gather it pays Harri every time someone clicks thru SOTW to an advertiser.
