Hi,

I need two parts for my newly aquired #310xxx Buescher Big B alto.
1) The piece with sits between the lower "octave cup rod" and the corresponding "fork lever" (see pic). Could someone post a detailed picture of an intact mechanism?
2) a "snap" which fits the lower B (or Bb) cup and its spud (spud diameter 5.6 mm cup inner diameter is 45.5 mm)(see pic)

Please reply to the thread or send me a PM it you could provide the parts!

Regards
Kulos

I found a blurry picture on ebay that (kind of) shows the part (#1, see above). It should presumably be a small metal square with a centered hole and "double rails" on two opposite sides.

I've still got 9 or 10 snaps. the 'block' is missing-- I've made a few of these --square brass stock and get filing!
Have a load of Buescher parts still available.

Jicaino sent me some of those blocks. You may want to contact him about both items. I also may have a snap but no spuds that I know of. If you can't find the block from him, I can send you one (when I find them!).

Although it has been a little while, the blocks were available from Ferree's as a Bundy part.
