Playing the same song. Tell me what you think. Ignore the choice of music, I know how you guys just love Smooth Jazz! :D That's my style though, it's the way I love to play!

<- ran out of breath towards the end!

I will play a longer one soon. Just testing out the Audio.

You sound great. How old are you and how long have you been playing?

I want to see a longer recording!
Hey thank you patseguin! I am 17 and I have been playing the Saxophone for about 7 months. Most of it is selftaught but I do have a teacher at school, you guys need to hear him play! He's like a remake of Charlie Parker!

Get a good private teacher and you're going to be great. Are you planning on going to college?

BTW, I saw your soprano recording and your recent alto one is WAY better. Soprano is a tricky beast imo though ;)

Yeah I do plan on going to college. I'd like to have private lessons with my school teacher, I mean not to brag on the guy or anything, but he can blow that horn lol. Maybe I am amazed by him because he's the only pro saxophone player I seen up close before, so you probably have seen better.

Soprano is hard! How does Kenny G do it?(I don't listen to Kenny G don't get any ideas CountSpatula!)

The emboucher is way diffrent than Alto and it's out of tune no matter how you slice it. I don't think I can learn Soprano that fast by myself like I did with the Alto Sax so I need a teacher for the Soprano the most.

Do you play Soprano?

(Oh and BTW, that video with the Soprano, I had to tune out the keyboard! If you have a keyboard or any other instrument at home, try to find the key it's in. Probably -Ab :D )

Yeah, I play alto and soprano. I really love both, but soprano definitely takes longer to learn. If you can get regular private lessons, I'd concentrate on alto for now. Maybe take a look at Berklee in a couple years.
