To my knowledge, the factory has not made horns without hi-F#.
I had an unlacquered TWO2 and the evolving splotchy stains and tarnish were not attractive for my taste. But you can find videos of Snake Davis or Jay Metcalf with unlacquered Yanys that have developed a lovely patina over 2-10 years.
My current horn is a TWO20--identical to a TWO10 except neck, tube, bow and bell are bronze alloy instead of brass. I can speak to the design and details of the fit and finish--absolutely exemplary, magnificent build quality. For me, the ergonomics and playability (once set-up) are outstanding.
As to sound, I believe it has a character distinct from other brands and models. Whether you like it or not, guess you will have to blow one or find the many YouTube demos and listen for yourself. Overall, I'd suggest it is near the middle of currently-available modern horns with respect to brightness and spread. As such, it should be highly versatile depending on your set-up. But perhaps it won't get you far to extreme warmth like an SBA, if that is what you seek.

I have an A 992 without the high F# key.
It was a special order made for the previous owner.

My impression is that there's a lot that Yanagisawa will do by special order, especially if you have a major dealer in your corner to make the request. E.g., I've seen a sterling silver & brass Yany alto covered in black lacquer instead of the normal clear lacquer.

That high F# adds unnecessary keywork. Unnecessary for those folks who never use the thing.

And then the key/post is the most vulnerable one on the sax.

If I ordered a shiny new Yany, I would certainly omit the high F#.

I had a T992 unlacquered and no high F# from the factory. I confirmed this with Yanagisawa as a special order. I sold it to BigDaddyJ, one of our SOTW colleagues. I can tell you it was special, and I think he agrees.
I still own that unlacqured T992 without high F#. It is a KILLIN' horn (thank you again John for selling me that horn!). In terms of ergonomics, I don't care if a horn has high F# or not. BUT.... the greatest sounding tenors I've played in my decades of playing did not have a high F#. So, that is what I pursue.

I'm not sure if they can produce a saxophone without a F# key BUT , I know you can SPECIAL ORDER it and wait for a response . I wondered why the TWO20 had metal tone boosters , but the TWO10 nor the TWO2 ( which is bronze ) doesn't . Upon further investigation , I noticed the BWO20 AND the BWO2 baritones have metal tone boosters . If both bronze Bari's have metal tone boosters , why didn't the TWO2 tenor have them ? I wanted post to body construction , as I have on my AWO2 UL , so I did a SPECIAL ORDER of a TWO2 UL WITH metal tone boosters . It was a few hundred bucks more , but I wanted it done at the factory and not aftermarket . I'll receive it around June/July . Doesn't hurt to ask , if you have the money . . . GO FOR IT !
