ok, this is not for beginners..
Tubby Hayes - analysis & transcriptions of some of his great solos

Thanks for posting that :).

I love that CD with Tubby and Clark Terry. 'Pint Of Bitter' is my favorite tune of that CD, so the transcription in the PDF file is very welcome :).

What a great player he was. I just got a copy of "Return Visit!" with none other than Rahsaan as a guest. Wonderful album. Tubby died young by my impression is that he had an enormous discography already.

Years ago someone played me a Tubby Hayes / Ronnie Scott Couriers album. At the time I was into more modern stuff and was dismissive of their playing. I hate that I was such an idiot in my youth.
