I loved Art's playing on Oliver Nelson's "Fantabulous" album. Later, I was lucky enough to run into Art at a nightclub in Chicago when I was on tour with Jaco Pastorius. It was very cool to hear him tell me the details about that Fantabulous recording session. RIP, Art.
