Trio Bel Canto will be playing a concert at University of Louisville in Comstock Concert Hall on Friday, Nov 18th at 8PM. This is a group comprised of Patrick Meighan (Florida State University) alto saxophone, John S.Moore (Indiana University Southeast) tenor saxophone and Krista Wallace-Boaz (University of Louisville) piano.
They will be performing a variety of music including works by Chopin,
Lieuwen, Ewazen, Fulmer and Piazzolla.

A great opportunity for anyone in the area.

It sounds like an interesting concert, I have often wondered why there are not more concerts with two saxophones and piano. After all there is much music for violin, cello and piano; and also ensembles such as oboe, bassoon and piano; so alto and tenor saxophones and piano makes perfect sense.
