I'd like to experiment with some mouthpieces and given the price of these (Rico Graftonite and Metalite) they seem a good starting point.

I've been using what I believe to be the standard mouthpiece that came with my '69 USA shooting star.

I've also got a Brilhart Ebolin 3* mouthpice but frankly I prefer the original. Not sure what that means.

Anyway I'm hoping to find something that will help my pursuit of overtones and Altissimo notes. Also a more modern 'breathy' sound for jazz - perhaps these two require different mouthpieces altogether.

Suggestions please? Especially models from these Rico ranges as I could afford to buy a few to see what effect the different baffles and openings have.
