I am looking over the web now for a soprano (I have plenty of time, the school where I learn is closed and the lessons will start again in September)
I found two models which seems to be, on the paper, quite attractive in the appearence and nicelly priced.

One is the Trevor James silver plated, US$1,047.90

The other is the Kessler Deluxe Red Brass. US$895.

I live in Hong Kong, and will not be abble to play or try any of them, anyway I don't know how to play the saxophone, I just tried my clarinet teacher's Yamaha once, and liked it. But I know that I am basicly more interrested in a good intonation and a good mechanical construction than in the tone, as a beginer.

Some of you have comments on these models?

With thanks,

Eric
