I just finished this one. This is from Joel's CD We Used To Dance. An excellent CD, amazing playing from everyone.

This was a hard one to transcribe because of the way Joe plays masterfully with time and rhythm. I did my best, but some of his nuances are really difficult to notate (at least for me).

Joel is currently one of my favorite tenor players. He is a true musical giant. I love his tone!

His solo on "The Navigator" is coming up next, probably next month. Till then, enjoy this one!

I had done this one myself early this year. Never put it to paper though.
Great! If you find anything that you would do differently, please let me know, I really welcome suggestions for improvements.

Joel Frahm is great! I was so looking forward to seeing him "live". Twice in the last few years he was to be out here in the west. Twice he came out, with Ernesto Cervini, on tour, then had to return to the east before the end of the tour, to go on another gig. Replacement sax was great, (Steve Kaldestad), but I'm still looking forward to seeing Joel.
