Hey all!

I was just recently given an old 1940's Conn tenor that was hanging out in someone's attic for 70 years. Inside, I found an old bone white plastic mouthpiece. The only marking on it were the words:
TOP
NOTCH

Anyone know anything about these mouthpieces? Are they worth anything?

Top Notch was a trade name used by Veneman Music Company at 8429 Georgia Avenue, Silver Springs, Maryland (Mr. Koob Veneman, owner). Veneman imported mostly stringed instruments, but later went into the manufacture of electric guitars until the late 1960s. The location is now a barbershop.

If you want to know more about Koob, here is his story.

You have a very rare and extremely valuable white plastic mouthpiece. Or not.
