Should a " new vintage" tone edge tune much differently to a standard one. I have a standard te 6 that is a fair way on, the 7 nv tone edge is at least 5/16 ths of an inch out to play in tune.

Physically they don't look a lot different, but this one is the furthest out of any piece I've tried, about half of the neck cork is showing....

The NV's have a smaller chamber and tighter bore/shank making the piece play brighter and tune sharper.

+1 ^ They are vastly different pieces in terms of interior volume.

Plays sharp for me too. Nothing out of the ordinary here.
