While Scott did my 30 day adjustment on my flute, (free when you buy one there) I blew through all the altos Saxes again and tried some mouthpieces. Two hours of a private practice room and anything I wanted to try. They had a pro model of a Chateau that I liked alot. But my 82Z is my baby for now. But their repair service and sales service is unparalleled in my opinion. K

I did play the Ary Ryderson (sp?) nickle alto flute. Man what a nice tone > k

I live about 15 min. from Tim's. They definitely have the customer service thing down. I always put a mouthpiece in my pocket when I go there because they have lots of horns and they don't mind if you want to play them all. I almost went there today for a neck cork on my soprano but I'm still battling the remnants of the flu...after 18 days! Grrrr.
