I find myself playing bari in an R&B/Soul/Funk cover band lately. I dearly love my Buescher Big "B", but I need a low A:cussing:. I expect to end up with a Barone in silver plate, maybe in 6 months or so. The plan is to put all my gig money towards it. I do hate waiting though.

That is a good deal, maybe. Depends on how much work it needed. I keep having a vision of shiny silver though, ;-)

I love that, "You're scuppered ....... ". Somehow it doesn't seem so bad. Meanwhile, the band has a low A Armstrong they are letting me use. I am not crazy about the left hand pinky table on it, and it just doesn't have the balls my Big "B" does, but it works.
