I am in the process of trying to work through all the info on here about the Keilwerth New Kings. How much discernable difference is there in each progressive series on this horn? Can anybody point me to a good resource?

I have a nickel/silver sx90 R never heard of a King

Ok the new King well I had one that i didn't like it was a SX90 Tone king Tenor and the ergonomics were no good for smaller hands and kind
of hard to play quick passages just my 2 cents

I saw a Keilwerth New King Series I horn recently. I am guessing the pre date the SX series from what I have been able to find so far.

thanks looking it over now.

I have never played any Keilwerth horns. The left pinky cluster on the horn I saw looked awkward. Wished I could have played it to see.

I have a couple of them - alto and tenor

I love the sound - big and phat

The ergonomics are not the greatest. I have small hands and have trouble with the plam keys on the alto, and with the pinky cluster on the tenor

They are sensitive to mouthpiece selection - they definately prefer something with a big chamber
