Hey everybody. I'm an aspiring sax player currently located in South Florida, but for most of my life, I was in Northern New Jersey. I've been playing sax since December 2018, when for Christmas, I began to learn tenor sax. I'm self-taught, so my technique isn't necessarily impeccable, but I've been learning and growing every day. I still have plenty to learn, and I thought I'd join this community to learn more, and potentially teach a few things myself!
I also play trombone and upright bass, and am in the process of learning tuba and bass clarinet.
Anyhow, have a good day everyone!

Must be a tenor if you're playing a stm. Love my NY stm but haven't tried the regular one.

Yessir, I also play bari sax on the side. I'm messing around with my setup at the moment, and I'm currently running an inexpensive Rico Metallite mouthpiece (for the price, it's great!) also with a rovner lig, and I'm trying out some boston sax shop reeds. I find that they have great quality and consistency.
