Just wondering of anybody out there might have a solution to this. I am currently playing a metal Wanne mouthpiece one is a Datta nd the other a Durga, but im having an issue with my mouthpiece patches. I bought some BG ones and they wont stay on the mouthpiece. I tried cutting them top the exact shape of the mouthpiece and that kind of worked but then they just loosen up and fall off when I start playing. Other than the Wanne patches does anybody know what other kind of patches might work, or maybe another solution to this problem on these pieces. I am playing 6 nights a week and it is becoming a serious hassle. The wanne patches that were on there were great till they got old.

In general, applying any mouthpiece patch on any piece can benefit from good prep work.
Make sure that the beak surface is clean and free of any residues or remnant mouthpiece patch pieces. Cleaning with acetone is generally fine for metal pieces, but acetone can wreak havoc with a lot of plastics, so you're much safer to use alcohol for HR and polymer pieces.
Make sure to let the area dry completely.
When applying the patch, try to not get any oils from your hands/fingers on the patch or on the beak area that the patch is going on to. Once the patch is applied, burnish it down onto the beak well to make sure that the bond is good.
It's not a requirement, but I like to let the patch bond to the beak for at least an hour or two before use if possible.

older thread, but i've recently gotten a Durga and am finding the same issue that saxzman mentioned -- the durga has a material on the metal, and as such mouthpiece patches don't stick, and I'm afraid of my teeth damaging the mouthpiece. Spooner's reply appears to be generic, and not specific to Theo Wanne's manufacturing.
Anyone have a suggestion for Theo Wanne mouthpieces, specifically the Durga?

and just as I posted that, I found an answer online. Theo sells his own that are designed for these mouthpieces.

You might try the 3M mouthpiece patches. I've used the clear ones. These stick on well and remain in place for a long time. I've never had one come loose, even directly on a metal mpc:
