I recently learned that the Christian Big Band, "Denver and the Mile High Orchestra" is one of the 12 bands that will be competing on FOX TV's "The Next Great American Band". It's on Friday at 8pm.

These guys are great, and I'm glad to see they're going to get some major exposure (depending on how popular the show turns out to be of course). I know I'll be voting for them...

Saw the show. They did very well, especially on tv, with a lot of horns, playing IN TUNE - at least what little they showed, and what little I really got to hear.

Good sounding group.

I met Denver before he had any CDs out. He takes his faith and his committment to music very seriously. I doubt they will go over too well with the TV audience, but I expect that all their performances will be tight.

I've been to 4 or 5 Christian festivals and I have seen Denver several times, I spoke to the alto players at one of the festivals in Ohio and they were very cool, they had both just recently graduated and this was a summer gig for them. If you ever get a chance to go to one of these festivals, go, we have greatly enjoyed them every time we went.

SPOILER ALERT... WARNING - The following message contains spoilers...

DMHO has made it into the final 3, which means they will be performing three songs tonight on the show. Be sure to tune in and vote for them if you like what you hear!
