Run a pipe cleaner through the tubes to make sure there’s no polish inside. The key work looks nice. Put a drop of oil at the roller ends. If they don’t turn easily leave them alone. They will break if you try to turn them holding with pliers.
I too start with lower stack.

I did a little bit for now, a few lowers and upper palms….the rest looks like a puzzle 🤔, I’ll mess with it next week but I’m looking for a chart for the conn parts
Looking good ! Refer to your original pictures for guidance. You won’t find any charts.

Hint, the lower keys tend to be larger than the upper ones but there are exceptions. The hard part is to thread some of them in there with the cams in the right position, that is above or below the corresponding cams that they interact with. In some cases you will be like "How the F am I going to get this part in there" but you may have to twist and turn and eventually you'll figure it out. Again, if you have to apply force, it is guaranteed to be the wrong way.

BTW, I have almost the exact same instrument here, if you get lost.

I only have around three pictures, I figure I’ll do it the hard way. I just took it apart and let it fall out
Ask someone to post some pictures for you ⬆⬆⬆⬆⬆⬆⬆.
Or use the picture from your first post.

Piggy, your two stacks face in opposition to each other.
But that’s how it came apart 🤣

I’m thinking there are some influences such as cracked/crazed/crystallized surfaces in the crusty ol’ stuff that made for a more reactive surface. There may have been more impurities in the old stuff as well, that would have lowered its threshold of decomposition.
All came from the same tenor. Three different adhesive/shellac. 70% & 90% isopropyl didn’t clean squat.

Bummer, I guess you’ll have to find another way to clean your squat.

I think No Sax got really Lucky with whatever material was used. I got my cups clean with heat, rag and a little denatured alcohol while the cup was still warm.
