Hi !

I haven't played the saxophone for more of a month because I moved to my house, my really first and last house I bought.
So I have been a bit busy.
Nothing to do with the saxophone.
My cat is 18 years old, she's deaf, she is not singing, she saw me doing something so she reacted.

Nice one Lionel, you have a good voice. :)

Also loved the fills of the cat, she sounds a bit like our 17/18 year old red cat!

That was nice - is your vocal range a tenor?

18 years is good for a cat. One of mine lived to be 20, another 17. I've always had cats and enjoy the variety of interesting sounds they can make when they communicate.

@Arundo Donax, yes I'm a tenor although my range is about three octaves in my best days, I never say it, my voice is my job tool even if I'm really not a singer.

@Reet McVouty, thanks ! I'm ashamed I've never seen it.

Lionel, if you ever get the chance check it out. Great movie starring Jack Lemmon and Lee Remick. Back in the day when movies were about, people, their frailties and misgivings and just being human and with no special effects. Oh, and Lee Remicks eyes were exquisitely beautiful, even in black and white ...

Thanks very much.

What a shame, I've never watched it although my father was into the cinema.

Lionel, are you still interested in accordions? I became interested last year and discovered Liberty Bellows in Philadelphia. I hope to visit there someday because of their excellent inventory of instruments.

Here is a video they have, made years ago, where this beautiful young woman plays La Vie en Rose. (maybe I've linked to it before). I will have to try that on my P-37D.

Yes, one of the saddest movies ever made. Worth a look though. Jack Lemmon was at his best.

We lost our 22 year old cat the Monday after New Year. She was deaf and was loud like your kitty. She got a form of dementia that caused her to wake up in the middle of the night and start howling so loud it woke everyone. Eventually we had to make a nice place for her outside in the garage where we couldn't hear her. She had a heater and a heated bed for winter and a small evaporative cooler for summer. Because she lived so long we had to put up with her craziness for about 3 or 4 years. Despite all the trouble we were sad to see her go.

Yes, I know this video, I found a website where they sell used accordions. www.musik-center.de
I think it could be interesting.

She already screams sometimes, she sleeps with a mirror in front of her, sometimes she licks it, sometimes she looks at herself. One night, she was screaming very loud, she was in front of the mirror.
She knows it is a mirror because when she sees me into it, she turns her head and comes to me.

Sounding great Lionel .. both of you. :bluewink:

Our cat talks/sings/howls non-stop ...

She sleeps too about 20 or 21 hours per day.
