Hi Guys

What tunes/songs do you have for a big finish? If I'm playing a solo gig to backing tracks (fetes/fairs/dinner dances etc), the end number varies and I've even been known to sing! But for my Christmas performances, I have this fixation with an short excerpt from Michael Kamen's An American Symphony from Mr Holland's Opus, it is a great uplifting, exhilarating finale and suits a festive programme to my mind, despite not being connected to Christmas.

Playing in an ensemble, then I would of course do something different unless it was a concert band, in which case I'd hunt down an arrangement of the Kamen! Anyone else love it?

Numerous traditional carols on soprano and Christmas tunes on alto ranging from Frosty the Snowman to The Christmas Song, Have Yourself a Merry..., the well known numbers by Wizzard, Slade and so on and so forth, so traditional tunes to light pop and jazz.
