...really knows his stuff. I have been thrilled with one of his mouthpieces for my alto. A Drake VRJA #7 that I liked so much that I sold my my NY Meyer Bros. 6M because it was not better than the VRJA. Since his mpc cost way less ($310), I decided to get a backup. I sent him some photos of it just to be sure and he sent me a new mpc that is virtually identical in all respects. Aaron you ROCK!!!

Flâneur I know what you are talking about! I bought a NY Jazz Alto piece that I wasn't completely satisfied with because the sound was to spread for my preference. I talked to Aaron about it and he said he would make me a new one with a slightly higher baffle, but with the same chamber and facing and he said all I needed to do was send the old one back! I only paid for the shipping to him, he spent his own money sending the new mouthpiece back to me. Basically what I'm getting at is Aaron is an amazing mouthpiece maker and person, the guy isn't satisfied until you are, and he knows exactly what needs to be done to make a killer piece just for you.

and a quick question Flâneur is yours the NY Jazz or the Ceramic Chamber or the regular Jazz model? I'm also wondering are you using the stock lig or are you using something different?
Hey JackLi. It has VRJA etched on it which I think stand for Vintage Resin Jazz. I don't think it has a ceramic chamber. I've been using an old two screw lig. I use an old brass no name two screw lig or a winslow.
Oh Cool, I'm not sure if the blank is different but my NY Jazz does NOT fit most conventional Alto ligs. The Two Screws definitely don't fit on my mouthpiece front band of the lig doesn't make contact with the top of the mouthpiece and it doesn't fully contact the reed either. Currently I'm using a Drake Lig that i asked Aaron to sit the Lig a little bit higher on the mouthpiece.
