alto or tenor & what's the model number.....it will say on the lower back side under the thumb hook...like 140 or 156 (as an example). it may (and likely is) be one of the earlier ones made by Selmer USA who bought out Buescher in the early 1960's that lost it's Norton springs & snap in pads. if so it won't be worth near as much as it would have been being made by the orig Buescher company. post some pictures, there are folks here who can tell you it's worth with good pictures.

I gave $200 for my 386,XXX alto a few years ago......came in a Protec case with a Vandoren A15 mouthpiece and played out of the case.
Yeah, they do play better out of the case than in it. At least that's been my experience. :)

Its an alto after some reasearch i do belive its from the 60s it seems to be in good quality. Im selling it to my friend as im a guitar player myself i was just wondering what to charge him
Depends on cosmetic and mechanical condition. These aren't worth that much. I would say personal or Craigslist sale value would range from $100 or less (poor condition) to $400 (Pristine).
