Not the best recording of these players, but it happens to everyone! Listen to the discrepancy between the piano and the guitar. It was destined to fail based off of that. You have no chance as a sax player when they are that far apart! Wayne is also older here and our chops do go at some point in time, or perhaps it was just a bad day! I love some WAYNE though!!! He is amaze - balls.

So much"fun" to try to play in tune when the other instruments are all over the place.

Here's an example, totally my fault.

Tuesdays we have a jazz jam.

It's in a little studio, cramped with two smelly dogs and an acoustic piano.

We are moving it to a bigger space on the same property but it keeps getting postponed.

I tune the piano but am holding off knowing it's going to move.

It's a bit flat and also out across the scale.

The bass player tunes with an electronic tuner so there's a discrepancy which I fight while playing alto.
