Is it possible that when I switched from a C* to my AL4 about a year back, and now when I try to play the C* again, it seems I'm blowing too hard, along with my omniture being too tight. I always heard AL4 and C* is similar, but it seems totally different for me after I tried doing this. Is it possible that switching mpcs can be like this?

Yup. Try a little harder reed on the C*. Might work out better for you.

There is always a possibility that the C* has warped or become damaged. Maybe you have just become a better player in the meantime and adjusted yourself to the Vandoren.

Yes, it's not just possible, but a fact. Unless you are switching to a very similar mpc, you'll have to adjust and that can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few weeks, depending on how different the mpcs are.
