Greetings! I finally got a video camera (Zoom Q2n). Here's the result of my first try. The band meets pretty regularly once a week, not always the same players and this is probably similar to many home sessions that take place.
It's fun to do and provides an incentive to practice & keep playing at 83.

mrpeebee: Thanks for your comments. Notice I'm using a Ted Klum Hr Florida 7 instead of the Link. Not sure which I like better. The audio on this video isn't the same as separate mics so I have to practice video recording for a while to help make up my mind. (Which will probably never happen). Best regards to you.

I indeed noticed that you didn't play the Link George, but you sound also great on this piece. It's the arrow-er, not the arrow!

Hi George,
solid band! Sounds great. I noted the sound... then found that you are using build-in mic. Hmmm... :)

I just found some technics for replacing cam mic recording in video. Very interesting and finally simple.

Thanks for sharing.

Nice playing, indeed. I recently turned 60, couldn't imagine I had more than 20 years ahead to play, maybe like you do. At least, I hope so. Congratulations, this is awesome and very motivating.

I recently got the same Q2n, amazing tool. Make sure you have enough AA batteries on hand, or a power supply, or an external USB battery, this thingy drains a lot of power. You can record yourself standing in front of it, it swallows the mightiest baritone grunt or tenor wail. You just need to use the manual gain with the small knob on the side.

On last month's TOTM, the one with The Police song, my submission was filmed with it.
