For anyone in Annapolis, the annual St. Paddy's Day parade goes on a week early, on March 8th from 1pm to 3pm. The parade starts at West St. and Spa Rd., and heads up West St. to downtown, wrapping around Church Circle, then down Main St. to the City Dock. I'll be playing with the very last group at the end, The Krewe of the Claw-dagh... otherwise known as the Naptown Brass Band. After the parade, a few of us will play a set at the Red Red Wine Bar around 4pm. So if you're in town for the parade, do be sure to say hello.

Oh, it's a blast. This will be my third one with this group. And I forgot to mention that Kirk Joseph, a founding member of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, will be joining us on sousaphone. He's long been a mentor to the band and comes along with us every year for this event.
