So I have a bari but I don't own a mouthpiece for one, I'm currently using the school's and since I'm graduating in a few days, I'll need to get one of my own. I'm looking for kind of a step up piece, more than the generic plastic piece, but I don't want to be spending a ton. Anyone have any suggestions? I'll probably be using it for a funk/rock element band or possibly marching band, so I want a piece that I can bring the sound with, but still not too much at the same time.

Rico Metalite. Cheap, loud, and 'Kid Friendly'. :)

My daughters' boyfriend uses one on my old Buescher 400. Plenty big sound!

Yep, the Metalite AND Graftonite are great. If you are going with a vintage Bari, there may be other choices but for the price, the Ricos can't be beat.
