Hello.
We have an ensemble: drum, bass, guitar, sax, poor vocal.
We are going to play on a party a 3-4 compositions. And i can suggest which.
THis should be very drive, fun, not so hard for rhythm-section.
We've already played on a small presentation: Mr.Magic, Cold Duck Time (easy compositions with lead sax), etc.
The idea is to play something like rock-n-roll, or dancing compositions from B.Goodman's times, or latina.
Could you please suggest some composition titles?
For example i like Go Daddy-O, Rock around the clock, etc. But it will be better to play in a different drive styles.
Thanks a lot!

I don't know if these are the style you're looking for, but here are some songs we do as instrumentals in my band, which has the same instrumentation as yours. They're not hard to learn, and are fun to play.

Chitlins Con Carne (Kenny Burrell with Stanley Turrentine, later Stevie Ray Vaughn)
Mercy, Mercy, Mercy (by Joe Zawinul, performed by Cannonball Adderly's band)
Work Song (by Nate Adderly, performed by Cannonball Adderly's band, later Paul Butterfield Blues Band)
Soul Serenade (performed by Willie Mitchell, King Curtis, and others)

Two basic, easy sax/rhythm tunes you might consider:
Tequila
Pick up the Pieces
