Apart from oodles of practice of course, there is another way to improve your sight reading, off the horn

http://www.musicards.net/

I have been using this recently to improve my reading of higher notes, and it really works, just 10 minutes a day on the upper register has really helped sort out my mental blockage. I like the way you can choose above or below the stave to help sort these issues out!

Just make sure you click "more flashcards" after changing your options

Highly recommended!!

Thank you!

My daughter just started learning music (flute), and I hope this is a fun way for her to practice the notes and keys.

Thx crazydaisydoo. I am trying to get this down, completely. These help. Then to progress on, while I did not see them on this website, I want to move on to Blue's Scales. I have the Jamey Aebersold's written chart. As one of the other posters stated, "it takes time" and some concentration.
Thx!
