Anybody seen one of these before...? Is that a transitional Soloist-S80...?

There is a gap in years between a soloist and the S80.
In between, is the version with the scroll shank, but which doesn’t say soloist on the table. It has the lay on top of the mouthpiece.

So, I don’t think this is a transitional.

But I don’t have an answer to what it is. Sorry

A few relaxers like Theo would shave the shank Dow. Although, Theo never did THIS to a soloist. I’ve seen a few like this. Honestly, it doesn’t make any sense, to me.

No, it is not shaved down but all original, and the second picture shows the typical horse shoe chamber of the Soloists...
